DONELLE, MARIE - 1920 - 2013 - Marie Donelle, 92, wife of the late Joseph Donelle (2010), formerly of Bas-Cap-Pelé, passed away on Monday April 22, 2013 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born May 10, 1920 in Bas-Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and Julienne (LeBlanc) Cormier. She was a past employee at Beauséjour Fisheries. Marie loved spending time in her garden and socializing with people. She will be sadly missed by her four children: Bernice Donelle of Marlborough, MA, Pauline Melanson (Roger) of Grand-Barachois, Valmont (Aurella) and Jean-Louis both of Bas-Cap-Pelé; one sister, Florine Fougère of Bas-Cap-Pelé; seven grandchildren: Isa, Brian, Bonnie, Joline, Rémi, Bobby and Guy; five great-grandchildren: James, Meghan, Celine, Yannick and Alexanne; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Raoul (Nicole); two sisters: Léontine and Rita; four brothers: Gérald, Bélonise, Ovila and Yvon.
By request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé, on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Marie, a contribution to the Villa Providence Foundation would be appreciated.
