Surrounded by his loving family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Monday, April 22, 2013, of John Archibald Griffin of Charlottetown, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Robina (nee Hiscock) Griffin. Dear father of Connie Griffin (Stephen Howatt), Coleman Griffin, Nora Griffin, Burlin Griffin (Patricia), Stanley Griffin (Mary Beth) and Cindy Forsythe (Paul). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Frances Mallet. Predeceased by his daughter Darlene, by his parents Pat and Patricia (nee O’Holloran) Griffin, by his sisters Lorena MacWilliams (Lorne) and Marjorie Moran (James) and by his brothers-in-law Clarence Mallett and Melvin MacPhee. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Saturday at 9:45, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. A private visitation will be held at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
