Mary Bayart
1913 – 2013
It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Grace Bayart, of River Hebert, at the age of 100 years. Grace passed away peacefully at Gables Lodge, Amherst, on Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Born in River Hebert, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Agnes (Burbine) Arseneau.She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, where she was organist for many years. She was a founding member of the St. Paul's CWL. She was very talented at writing poetry and at one time privately published a book of her poems.
She will be sadly missed by sons, Victor (Mildred), River Hebert and Kevin (Beverly), Dartmouth; 3 grandchildren, Kim, Krista and Kory; 2 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Charles; sister, Annie Bourque; brothers Victor and Alfred.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Family at the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, River Hebert, NS (902-667-8777). Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, River Hebert, on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 11 AM, Father Phil Thibodeau officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie, followed by a reception at St. Paul's Parish Hall.
