Shirley Vautour
VAUTOUR, SHIRLEY - Shirley Vautour, 71, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on June 16, 1941 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Guillaume and Marianne (LeBlanc) Goguen. Shirley was formerly employed at National Sea Products, past owner of a rooming house and a former volunteer with Ray of Hope Kitchen. She is survived by her common-law husband, Émile “Jr.” Goguen; four children: David (Denise) and Gerald (Bernadette) of Cap-Pelé; Pauline Vautour (Emery) of Dieppe and Marcel of Moncton; her sisters and brothers: Linda Landry (Guy) of Robichaud Office, Simone Ways of Amherst, Ronald Goguen (Theresa) of Dieppe, Lloyd of Moncton, Roger and Michel (Doria) both of Cap-Pelé, David (Josée) of Robichaud, Paul of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Gerard of Vancouver; nine grandchildren: Jamie, Jeremy, Mathieu, Natalie, Dale, Cyril, Stéphane, Heather and Nathalie; two great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Kayla; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant son, Maurice (1959) and one brother, Guillaume.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11 am. A reception will follow at the centre. Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
