The death occurred suddenly at his home, on April 24, 2013, of John William Whiteway of Murray River, age 71. Loving father of Vicki (George), Jeff (Crystal) and Julie (Glen). Grandfather of Cody, Amber, Brandon, Connor, Charles, Alexis and great-grandfather of Harrison. Survived by brother Franklin. Remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Chester and Annie (Young) Whiteway; wife Linda and brother Robert. Resting at Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, for visitation on Friday, April 26, from 6-9 p.m. only. Graveside service on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. Interment in Murray River Cemetery. Donations gratefully accepted to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
