Passed peacefully away on April 27, 2013 in St. John’s at 91 years of age. Predeceased by brothers: Cecil and David; and sister Shirley Jones. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 63 years Agnes (Luscombe); sons: Edwin (St. John’s), Donald (Bareneed), David (Lorraine) and grandsons: Jason and Brian (Florida); sister Daisy Scammell and brother Paul (Heather) of St. John’s; also leaving to mourn: nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, April 29, 2013 and Tuesday April, 30 2013 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday May 1, 2013 at St. Mark’s Church, Bareneed, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Funeral service following at 2 p.m. from St. Mark’s Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to St. Mark’s Church, Bareneed.
