The death occurred suddenly at her residence in St. Georges on Saturday, April 27, 2013, of Barbara MacKinnon, in her 87th year.
Beloved mother of Peggy (Geoff) Crutchfield, Eddy, Bennett, Irene, Earl (Kelly), Blair (Angel), Claude, Hilda (Kevin) LaPierre and Noel (Shannon). Grandmother to 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by her husband, Eurban MacKinnon; parents, John and Margaret MacDonald; brothers, Casimir and Walker.
Resting at the lounge of St. Georges Roman Catholic Church in St. Georges for visiting hours on Monday, April 29, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Georges Roman Catholic Church. Interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Georges Cemetery Fund.
