Doris Harriet MacDonald, 92, of Sydney , passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Corson and Sadie (MacQuarrie) MacKenzie.
Residing in Sydney for 47 years, Doris was a dedicated member of St. Andrews United Church. She was active in Canadian Girls in Training, and a devoted member of the United Church Women.
She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, G. Douglas MacDonald, Sydney; son, William (Diane Mary) and grandson, Hamish, all living in New Zealand.
There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney.
