It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert Stephen Carde, age 70, of River Hebert East, who passed away on April 30, 2013 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Amherst Nova Scotia. Herbert had many interest , he loved hunting, visiting his camp, writing in his journal watching John Wayne movies and reading his Bible. Herbert is survived by his wife Elizabeth J.A. Carde (Agnew) his two daughters Elizabeth E. Carde and Flora L. Carde, His two sons Stephen J. Carde all from Manitoba, his son Conrad L. Carde and wife Marina residing in River Hebert East Nova Scotia. His grandchildren Cruz Herbert Carde, Tyler Ace Carde, Paco Jade Carde, Christian Sawyer Carde, and Sarah Gayle Meagher His brothers Conrad C. Carde wife Deb Carde, Allan Carde and Earl Proctor, his sisters Sally Gouchie (Carde), Sandra Dwyer (Carde) (deceased), Marg Tower (Carde) husband James Tower, Nora Arseanu (Carde) husband Charles Arseanu, Carol Proctor, Kim Porter (Proctor) husband Allan Porter, and Susan Proctor. Herbert was predeceased by his mother Effie E. Proctor and his father Conrad C. Carde.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, Herbert was also involved in the Trappers Association and the North American Hunting Club, he worked for Thompson Brothers roofing and siding, Allied Van Lines and Robert A. Archibald Trucking for many years. Thank you to the Nurses in the care home for their wonderful care and to the Doctors and staff at the hospital.
Cremation has taken place.
