It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Brake announce his passing at the Lohnes Complex on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Anna Marie Brake, Lohnes Complex; children: Eddie (Loretta), Corner Brook, Catherine Walters (Marshall), Edmonton, AB, Diane Brake, Robert (Ruth Ann), Tony (Paula) and John Jr.; all residing in Corner Brook; 9 grandchildren: Eddy, April, Michelle, Jason, Christopher, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Angela and Holly; five great- grandchildren; sisters: Linda Quehe, Alma O’Keefe, Maxine Park and Violet Young; brother Jerry Brake; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by two grandchildren: Michael and Patrina and parents William and Elizabeth Brake. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. There will be no formal service. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
