McINNIS, BRIAN K. - Brian K. McInnis, 62, of Cocagne, with his loving sister, Cindy, at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James and Faustina “Foster” (Richard) McInnis. Brian was retired from Hub Meat Packers with 26 years service and was an avid fisherman in his favorite spots Crooked Creek, Livingston Lake and several areas in Kent Co. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was an avid Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed playing guitar, cards (cribbage) and vegetable gardening. Brian will be sadly missed by his sister, Cindy McInnis-Hicks (Gary) of Moncton and special nieces, Sarah, Julie and Taylor.
In keeping with Brian’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Sharing of Memories for Brian will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Special thanks to Dr. Annelise Gallien and nursing staff at The Moncton Hospital CC Unit for the love and care shown to Brian.
