Passed peacefully away following a brief illness, on April 29, 2013, at Colchester East Hants Hospital, Truro, NS, Leonard Hawco, formerly of Mount Carmel, NL, aged 65 years. Predeceased by parents Alphonsus & Annie Hawco, parents-in-law Joseph and Mary Rose Levangie, sisters-in-law Muriel and Patricia and niece Sandra. Leaving to mourn wife and best friend Shirley; sons: Leonard (Yannan) and children Leo & Taylor and Aubrey (Glenda) and children Stephen & Stephanie; brothers and sisters: Ben (Sandie), Jean (Don) Gibbons, Harold (Anne), Adrian (Paulette), Callista (Hughie) Didham, Clifton (Dorothy), Carmella (Brian) Singleton and Albert (Carolann); brothers-in-law Colin Purcell and Harold (Anne); sisters-in-law: Beverly (John) Ryan, Ella Hawco and Catherine Levangie, many cousins, including Walter (Lil) and family and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, NL, on Tuesday, May 7, from 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
