Sheila Spin passed away quietly at home surrounded by her family and closest friends on April 29 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 61.
Sheila is survived by and will be dearly missed by her parents Jim and Francis Cooper of Deep River, Ontario, husband Pete, son Jonathan, and daughter Ashley as well as her sisters Maryanne, and Janet and brothers Doug, Randy and Steve.
A service will be held in Deep River on June 14 for the Ontario family members and friends.
For the Sunshine Coast friends and neighbours who became a major part of her life over the last few years, a celebration of Sheila’s life will be held at her home in Sechelt on May 25.
