Arthur Ridge of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2013. Art was born April 28, 1916 at Tugaske, SK. He worked on farms, ranches, and dairy farms and with the George Halstrom Garage and Implements in Lawson, SK, and later in Moose Jaw with Western Implements, and Moose Jaw Eagle Co. He played in dance bands with family and friends for many years. Art was an active member in the I.O.O.F. Lodge for over 50 years. He enjoyed curling, golf, and many other sports. Art was always ready to lend a hand to help his family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Jean, brothers Maurice, Russell, and Herman, and sister Verna. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside Service will be held at Sunset Cemetery on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Reverend David Moore will officiate. Flowers are gratefully declined, for those so wishing, memorial donations to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1H3, or to a charity of choice, would be appreciated.
