BAXTER, RONALD "PETE" - It is with a sad heart, the family wishes to announce the death of Ronald Stanley Baxter, age 75, husband of Eleanor (Chetley) Baxter, of Clifton Royal, NB, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. He was born on September 17, 1937, in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Sidney and Florence (McHugh) Baxter. Ron is survived by his wife Eleanor of 54 years; daughters Donna Gardner of Hampton, NB, Sheila Hatchette of Halifax, NS and Pamela Roger and her husband Brian of Hampton, NB; son Ron Baxter of Saint John, NB; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; mother in-law Annie Chetley; brothers Sidney Baxter Jr. and his wife Betty, Glendon Baxter and his wife Judith; sisters Doreen Stack and her husband Joseph, Barb Pitt, Betty Kuchynski and her husband Leonard. He was predeceased by his grandson Michael Hatchette; brother Sterling Baxter; brother in- law Eldon Pitt; sister in- law Susan Baxter.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service, conducted by, Father John Bowmaster, will be held from St. Bridget’s Church, Summerville, NB at 11:00 AM, on Monday, May 13, 2013.
