Kimberly Greer

Kimberly Mark Greer, 58, passed away on May 9, 2013 at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville.
Born in 1954 in Moncton, he was a son of Morley and the late Eleanor (Lowther) Greer. Kim lived and went to school in Maccan and moved later to River Hebert where he attended RHDH. He then went to Vocational School in Springhill. He worked many years for the Department of Highways, then later as a flagman for McLeod Safety Services Ltd.
Kim loved his community of River Hebert and Joggins. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion of Joggins, a member of the Cumberland Development Association and a proud member of the King Edward Lodge #86 in River Hebert. He was a great community volunteer who always helped out when he could where help was needed.
Kim had a passion for music and die cast car models of which he had an extensive collection of both, the latter being a great joy for him to show. He had a very sharp memory and loved to reminisce of people and days gone by. A great sense of humor that would always make you chuckle.
He is survived by his father, Morley B. Greer, and his brother Jeff (Joyce) of Coldbrook, nieces Jana (Matthew) Wilson, Kentville, Vanessa (Alexander), Halifax, and nephew Wade (Cheryl), Cambridge; Aunts Joyce (Henderson) Allen and Marjorie (Glen) Spicer, and Pearl Greer
Besides his beloved mother, Kim was predeceased by grandparents Alexander and Viola (Melanson) Greer, Eldred and Margaret (Brown) Lowther and many Aunts and Uncles whom he loved dearly.
