David Morse Marsh
Marsh, David Morse – Hilden. It is with great sadness that David Morse Marsh passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. He was 66 years old. Born in Amherst April 4, 1947, David was the son of the late Harry and Marjorie Marsh of Masstown. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 36 years, Margo Marsh and his son, Claude Bretemps (Hilden) and daughter, Denise (Peter) Scammell, Greenfield and his 6 grandchildren, Dylan, Bailey, Chet, Bria, Allyson and Brennan. He is also survived by his sister, Penny (Bryce) Duggan, Barrington Passage and brother, Greg (Krista) Marsh of Masstown. He also had two nephews, Gregory Paul and Ryan Duggan. David worked at Commercial Safety College for 32 years and later drove for Keenan Transport, Woodstock, NB. Dave’s greatest joy in his life was his grandchildren, he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed watching wrestling with his grandsons and loved to talk with his granddaughters and tease them and was always known for calling them “George”. He had a very special bond with each one of them. Dave loved Nascar and Wrestling and he loved to travel. Special thanks to all the wonderful doctors and nurses who looked after him they were truly amazing. There will be a time of gathering for family and friends to celebrate Dave’s life on Thursday, May 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
