RICHARDSON, WILLIAM "BILL" ALEXANDER - 1927 - 2013 - William "Bill" Alexander Richardson, age 86 of Sackville passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Drew Nursing Home. Born in Scotland, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (Bain) Richardson. Bill worked as an automotive mechanic for many years in Sackville for J.E. Weldon and Lounsbury's. He had two passions in life; his family and his horses. He showed his Percheron horses at many Maritime Exhibitions and was also involved in judging several events. Bill enjoyed spending time with family at the cottage and going on annual camping trips. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Rhobena (Estabrooks) Richardson; children, Davis (Carol) Richardson, Joan (Ralph) Smith, Jessie (Stephen) Boorne, William "Bill" (Peggy) Richardson and Joy (Charles) Estabrooks; grandchildren, Krista, Scott, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Anthony, Sarah, William, Amanda, James, Megan, Patrick and Robin; 17 great grandchildren; brother, David (Pearl) Richardson; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Bill was predeceased by a son Michael at birth; great granddaughter Zoey; brothers, George, Andrew, Robert and Edwin; sisters, Sarah, Jessie, Catherine.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300). Family and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2 pm, Pastor Andrew Swanson Officiating. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
