BOUDREAU, ROBERT - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert Marshall Boudreau at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 9th, 2013. Born in Chipman on June 28th, 1933, son of the late Edmund Boudreau and Josephine (LeBlanc). Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lynn (Bishop); their daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Copeland and Lisa (Charlie) Bourgeois; beloved grandchildren, Jeremy Copeland of Fredericton, Jenna (Adam) Bennett of Fort St. John, Robbie Chavarie of Chipman and great-granddaughter Natalie Bennett; brothers, Stan (Elaine) Boudreau of Chipman, Mike(Donna) Boudreau of Coal Creek, Paul (Betty) Boudreau of Chipman, Roger (Odette) Boudreau of Bronson, Alphie Boudreau of Campbell River; sisters, Lorraine Murphy of Vista California, US, Mary Boudreau of Montreal, sister-in-law, Delores Boudreau of Chipman; 15 nieces; 10 nephews, 15 great nieces and 14 great nephews. Bobby was predeceased by his brother Angus Boudreau and sisters, Eva Saulnier and Exelda Boudreau. Bob was a man of many talents. As a young man he worked in the tabacco and potato fields of Grand Falls and also for a time with CN Railroad, his passion was woods work. He was declared by a Chipman woodsman as “The one true Lumberjack this man ever knew”. Bob loved to hunt and he looked forward to hunting season every year. Bob was a generous man, he would be the first person to offer help to family, friends and neighbours, he was loved and respected very much and will be sadly missed by all.
By Bob’s request there will be no visiting hours. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service celebrating Bob’s life on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Chipman United Pentecostal Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Cole. www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
