It is with sadness that we announce the death of our dad, granddad, and great-granddad on May 10, 2013, with his family by his side. Sam was born to Stephen & Nestoria Bolianatz on February 6, 1927 in the Avonlea District. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Mary, his half-siblings Annie, Lena, Julia, George, his siblings Mary, Flora, Nettie, Olga, Ruth, Lydia, Victor, and his great-grandson Lucas Bolianatz. He is lovingly remembered by his children Nancy (Ron) Weins, Val (Darryl) Benson, Chris (Brenda) Bolianatz, Dale Bolianatz, Eric Bolianatz, Dennis (Teresa) Bolianatz, and Lisa Bolianatz and his 17 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sisters Rose Wright, Yvonne Powell, and his brother Dan Bolianatz, as well as by several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Extendicare, as well as to Dr. B. Sanderson and Dr. B. VanHeerden. Memorial donations to The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Ave, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1 would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:00 pm at The Salvation Army Church, 2 Wintergreen Dr, Moose Jaw, SK.
