Forever a gentleman, lovingly missed by his family, Peter passed away quite suddenly after a short illness.
He was born in England and immigrated to Canada with his new wife in 1954. They raised five children in the east before retiring from the civil service to the West Coast, first in Chilliwack then to Sechelt. Peter became active in a variety of activities – he taught computer courses at the Elder College and was a board member for the Sechelt Public Library and the Historical Society. He was a key member of the Play Reading Group at the Seniors Centre. He enjoyed gardening and reading poetry and continued his passion for Family History.
He was predeceased by his wife Joan in 2000.
A Celebration of Peter's Life will be held on May 18, 2013 from 1pm to 4pm at Pebbles Restaurant, Oceanside Room. If you would like to attend, please contact Sophie at 604-885-6728.
