Annie Cargyle passed away May 7, 2013 shortly after her 90th birthday. She is deeply missed by her devoted husband Ozzie. Anne, born in Strathmore, Alberta, was a long time resident of Roberts Creek. She possessed a lively, inquiring mind and loved reading, music, the prairies, cats and all things Canadian. Anne weathered the losses that age brings with humour, courage and dignity, and her generous spirit will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.
At Annie's request, her body has been accepted by UBC for medical research, in particular for her “special ears.”
