It is with great sadness that we, the family of Robbie Nicholson, announce his passing on May 20, 2013 at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
He was the son of the late George and Emma (MacDonald) Nicholson.
Robbie is survived by daughters, Christina, Catherine and Darlene; all of Ontario, brother Joe; sisters, Veronica, (Lionel Ruck, deceased), Jemima (Ernest Cormier, deceased), Helen (Reggie Dwyer, deceased) , all of New Waterford; three granddaughters in Ontario and several nieces and nephews.
Robbie spent a great deal of time walking the boardwalk at Dominion beach, and enjoyed socializing with the people he met and making friends along the way.
Robbie will especially be missed by his loving niece, Ann Mackenzie.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Jenina, Theresa and brother, John.
Cremation has taken place. At his request there will be no visitation. A funeral mass to celebrate Robbie’s life will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Ave., and a reception to follow at the parish hall, Convent Street. Funeral arrangements are under the dicrection of Mclellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
