SCOTT, CHARLES - 1924 - 2013 - New Bandon, Glou. Co., N.B. - The family of Charles E. Scott, 89, of New Bandon, announce his passing on Sunday (May 19, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. He was the husband of the late Marion (Baird) Scott. Born in New Bandon, he was the son of the late Rufus and Annie (Payne) Scott. He graduated from U.N.B. as an Engineer in 1946. He worked many years in Montreal until his retirement and returned home in 1991. He is survived by two sons: Steven of New Bandon and Ian (Linda) of Fredericton; two grandsons: Christopher and Bradley; one sister, Vera Hopper of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers: Harold, Deward; two sisters: Margaret Hornibrook and Emma Jennings.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or Funeral Service. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Highland View Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Bathurst Animal Shelter or a favorite charity would be appreciated by the family.
