A well known and admired resident of Grande Cache, Pat Dalton, passed away Tuesday May 21, 2013 at the Grande Cache Community Health Complex after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his treasured family when he was freed of suffering. He passed away at the tender age of 58.
Cherishing his life and remembering him always, is his loving family; wife and life partner, Rose and their children, Yvonne (Seth) Mortensen of Grande Cache, Alta. and Leeann (Trevor) Kerschbaumer of Fairview, Alta. Also surviving Pat are his precious grandchildren, Nash, Tessa, Seiara and Georgia. Pat is survived by one brother, Charles (Joanne) Dalton of St. Catharines, Ont., sister, Shirleen (Eric) Clarke of North Sydney, Cape Breton, N.S. Pat leaves behind his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of special friends.
Pat was predeceased by his mother, Christine; father-in-law, Bill; mother-in-law, Yvonne and brother-in-law, Paul.
Memorial services for Pat will be held on May 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Grande Cache United Church with Pastor Roger Manuel presiding. In keeping with Pat’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a later date.
The family asks that in lieu of a floral tribute, a donation can be made to the Grande Cache Community Health Complex, Box 629, Grande Cache, Alta., T0E 0Y0 in Pat Dalton’s memory.
