Passed suddenly but peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2013, Mrs. Vera Lillian May Morgan of Birch Hills, Bay Roberts, aged 89 years. Mrs. Morgan was predeceased by her husband Douglas Morgan in 2005. Leaving to remember with treasured memories, her children: daughter: Karen (Fabian) Morrissey, Spruce Grove, Alberta, and her son Craig Morgan, Kelowna, BC; grandchildren: Amanda and Sarah Morrissey; the Morgan Family of Bay Roberts including Boyd and Betty (a special and valued friend) Morgan; the Snow Family of Clarke’s Beach including Cavelle (Pastor Jim Anthony) and Annie Mae Fry and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Morgan will be resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts Saturday 7 – 9 p.m.; Sunday 10-12 Noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Monday 10-12 Noon, with funeral services from Grace United Church and Cemetery, Coley’s Point on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
