ROBERTS, Elmer Leland – 94, Langley, British Columbia, formerly of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Langley. Born April 13, 1919 in Argyle Head, Yarmouth Co., he was a son of the late Raymond and Vera (Crowell) Roberts. Elmer was a retired from the Nova Scotia Power Corporation, where he worked as a groundman. He leaves to mourn a daughter, Ann Sharon Gunson and a son, David Theron Roberts, as well as four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Margaret “Maggie” (Atkins) Roberts. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6 at Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth.
