Passed peacefully at home in Ajax, Ontario on Sunday, May 26, 2013. Richard Joseph Dillon of Ajax, Ontario, born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, after a 15 month battle with cancer. Richard is predeceased by his young son Richard Joseph Dillon Jr. (1984), his parents Joseph & Anastasia Dillon, by his brothers Francis, Michael, Joseph, Douglas and by his sisters Mary, Clara, Joan, Bernice and Gertrude. Richard is survived by his loving wife Aggie (nee McGrath of Colliers, Newfoundland), his daughter Jacqueline Annette of Ajax and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his co-workers at Ely’s Glass in Scarborough, Ontario. Visitation will be held at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax (905-428-8488) on Wednesday, May 29 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
