Died suddenly, due to a tragic accident, on May 27, 2013, age 44. Predeceased by his grandparents: Josephine and Bernard Hedderson and Mary and James Edwards. Ernie will be sadly missed by his precious son and little buddy, Jesse Daniel, the light of his life. Also mourning their sudden loss, his loving parents: Cecilia and Ernest; sisters, Bernadette (Lorne, Blake, Grant), Renee (Geoff, Julian); brother and best friend Joseph (Matthew and Mary Katherine) and his loving and caring partner, Cathy Clarke, He will also be missed by his life long friend, Ian March, Ernie also leaves to mourn his aunts and uncles: Hope Hedderson, Sue and Bernie Hedderson, Mildred Hedderson, Frank and Gail Rochford, Joan and Bernie Camelli, Mike and Nancy Hedderson, Ed and Gladys Hedderson, Trish (Godmother) and Lee Martin, Maxine and John Hedderson, Rosemary and Tom Hedderson, Mary and Joe Edwards, Ann and Richard Loder, Stella and Doug Edwards (Godfather), Earl McDougall; as well as many cousins and friends and those he worked with over the years in Local 740. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of The Snows Church, Marysvale with interment to follow in the R.C.
