Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, Mr. Alexander Henry Snook, age 86 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Isabella, at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre in Botwood; sons, Wesley (Audrey), Alex Jr. (Bride), Hubert (Linda), Gary (Georgina) and Carl (Maureen) all at Harbour Breton; daughters, Christabelle (Leo Thornhill) at Harbour Breton, Whilemina at Fort McMurray and Nancy (Ambrose Snook) at Harbour Breton with whom he resided; twenty grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; home care worker, Ruby Lilly (Norman); plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Snook; sons, William and Wade; sisters, Gertie, Molly and Blanche; brother, Thomas.
Funeral service was held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Harbour Breton.
