1925 - 2013
It is with loving thoughts that we remember Abe Thiessen of Eyebrow, who passed away peacefully on May 29, 2013, at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, at the age of 87. Abram was born in Russia, the youngest of seven children. His family came to Canada in 1926 and settled in Manitoba before coming to reside in Eyebrow in 1928. Abram is predeceased by his siblings, and his oldest son, Alvin. Abram is survived by his loyal wife of 59 years, Julia; five sons: Robb (Arlene), Cliff, Doug (Darlene), Lloyd, and Marvin; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His strong faith in Christ led him through his victories and trials. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Darrell Buchanan will officiate. Interment will take place at the Eyebrow Cemetery. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
