Passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home Grand Bank on Tuesday May 28,2013 Blanche Ethel Banfield (Follett) in her 93rd year.Pre deceased by husband Capt.Harvey Banfield ( Sept.2011) mother & father Capt.George & Jessie Follett, brothers Albert, Frazer,Charles & Wilfred, sisters, Freda & Janie.Leaving to mourn daughter Sharon,son-in law Sam Barnes,grandsons Steven (Sandra) and Sterling (Julie) great grand daughters Megan & April, and grandma's girl Abby.Also brother Llyod (Evelyn) and sister Mildred.She will also be missed by a large circle of nieces & nephews and close friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Rick Marsh from Grand Bank United Church at 2pm on Friday, May 31st, 2013. Interment followed at United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank. Organist was Betty Rogers. Pall Bearers were: Sam Barnes, Steve Barnes, Sterling Barnes, Frank Follett, Don Hollett, Craig Follett. Donations in her memory may be made to Grand Bank United Church or Blue Crest Nursing Home.
