It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce on June 7, 2013, at the age 67, Wayne Morris MacDonald peacefully passed away with his family at his side at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont.
Dearly missed by partner of 25 years, Yvonne Barbaza, Sarnia, Ont. Loving father of Shannon (Charlee), St. Catharines, Ont. Proud grandfather of Michael and Erica, St. Catharines, Ont. Dearly loved by his brother Richard (Pauline), Glace Bay, N.S.; sisters, Wendy (Jamie) Pollock, Glace Bay and Linda (Jerry) Pickering, London, Ont. His many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, John A. and Mary Catherine MacDonald, Glace Bay; brothers, James and Robert, Glace Bay.
Wayne requested cremation with no visitation or funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff in the Critical Care Trauma Centre at Victoria Hospital for their compassion and excellent care of Wayne. Special thanks to Dr. R. Inculet and Dr. John O'Mahony for always being there for Wayne.
