Philip passed away on Sunday morning, June 09th, 2013 at the hospital in Red Deer, Alberta. He leaves his much-loved family, his son Robert in Labrador, daughter Carol Ann (Brad) in Red Deer, his former wife Eileen Sutton and four grandchildren, Devon, Siobhan, Samantha and Jasmine. He is survived by one brother Bob and sisters Heather and Jane-Alice. His twin brother Charles predeceased him in 1990. Philip’s parents were the late Robert David Dawe and Eliza Cavel Gosse of Spaniard’s Bay. Cremation has taken place at Parkland Funeral Home in Red Deer. At Philip’s request his ashes will be interred at a later date in the family plot at the United Church Cemetery in Spaniard’s Bay with a private graveside service.
