At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, of Donald S. MacLellan of Indian River, aged 93 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Born in Indian River on July 11, 1919, son of the late Austin J. and Margaret R. (Campbell) MacLellan. Husband of the late Elinor E. (MacDonald) MacLellan. Brother of Allan (Mary Jo) MacLellan, Toronto. Uncle to Patricia Caulfield, New Hampshire, and Allan and Donald Maucione of Massachusetts. Brother-in-law of Sister Wanda MacDonald, CSM, Corran Ban; Anna MacDonald (Richard Duffy), Newton, Massachusetts; Genevieve MacDonald (Carl), Glenfinnan; and John A. MacDonald, Ottawa. Predeceased by his sister Mary Maucione and sisters-in-law Donalda Pendergast, Sister Katherine MacDonald CSM, LLD, Mona MacDonald and Etta Anderson, and brothers-in-law Edward Pendergast, Louis MacDonald and George Anderson. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass Tuesday at St. Mary's Holy Family Church, Kensington, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Indian River.
