It is with great sadness that the family of the late LILLY GREEN of Burin, NL, announces her passing at The Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Friday, June 14, 2013, at the age of 87. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Reginald (Judy) of Burin Bay & Rex (Sharon) of Marystown; Daughters – Marie (Harold Chatman) of Charlottetown, NL, Mondella (Freeman Brown) of Arnold’s Cove, Thelma (Wesley Boone) of Lewin’s Cove, Vera (Allan MacDonald) of Troy, NS, Debbie (Patrick Brushett) of Burin, Patricia Green of Brooks, AB & Brenda Green of Brampton, ON; Sisters – Matilda Green of Port Au Bras & Victoria Williams of Chapel Arm; 20 Grandchildren & 19 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband – Alexander; Son – Bertram Green; Sisters – Rita Green & Vida Bolt.

The Funeral Service took place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Ship Cove, on Monday, June 17, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Hodder’s Point. In Lilly’s memory donations may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund – Hodder’s Point or flowers gratefully accepted.
