CAVE: Lucille Agnes Cave passed away on June 15, 2013 at the Palliser Regional Care Centre at the age of 82 years. She was born September 28, 1930 at Windthorst, Saskatchewan. A prayer service was held Thursday June 20, 2013 at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church with Kathy Wanner officiating. The Funeral Mass was held on Friday June 21, 2013 at Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Richard Jasiak MSF officiating. The pianist was Sierra Francis, the soloist was John Hengen, the eulogy was read by Simone Hengen and the ushers were Barbara Kuhlman & Michele Hetherton. Readers were Joan Hengen, Rita Hengen, Gloria Welch and Karen Semrau. Honorary pallbearers were: Joey Alechsick, Richard Schnieder, Jackie Rieder, Don Lenius, John Lenius, and Shaunna Welch. Pallbearers were: Curtis Cave, Kerry Cave, Girard Hengen,Terry Hengen,Donald Hengen, Greg Semrau and Mark Semrau. The interment service was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Lucille is survived by her husband, Don Cave: two sons, Curtis and Kevin Cave; two brothers, John and David Hengen; a sister, Gloria Hengen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille is predeceased by her parents: Hubert and Anna Hengen. She attended the University of New Mexico, in Alboguergue, New Mexico. She married Don Cave on June 16, 1973 at Windthorst, Saskatchewan. Lucille was employed at Swift Current Union Hospital, Pasqua Hospital, the Regina General Hospital, the Wascana Hospital, in Regina, Saskatchewan, the Psychiatric Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Mercy School of Practical Nursing in Cadillac, Michigan, and the Nazareth Hospital, Albuguergue, New Mexico, U.S.A. She was a member of Catholic Womens League and Catholic Church Choir. Singing & music were very important to her and she was always involved with the Catholic Church. Memorial dontions to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
