HAHN – Ronald Leroy - It is with great sadness the family of Ronald Hahn announce his passing on June 15, 2013 at the age of 67 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan after a battle with cancer. Ronald is survived by his wife Yvonne, son Ryan(Vanessa) and grand-daughter Clarissa Hahn. After meeting in Regina Ronald and Yvonne were married June 9, 1972. Their first born Jeffory Todd was born August 1973. He also lost a battle with cancer at the age of 2 ½ years old. Their second born Ryan Kenneth was born April 1977. Ronald had done a few jobs before his career of welding. He had bought grain for the Sask Wheat Pool in the communities of Central Butte and Ezme, Saskatchewan. He ended up in Moose Jaw,Saskatchewan and started his education in Welding. He drove cab for some extra money to pay his way. After completing his education he then moved to Regina, Saskatchewan to start a career that he loved. In the spring of 1980 Ronald and Yvonne had taken over the family farm and eventually moved to Neidpath. After several years of farming, Ronald had been pressured by the community to start a welding business. The business flourished. Ronald enjoyed a good laugh with friends and especially a practical joke. He also enjoyed the simple things like an early morning ride on his horse to eat chokecherries in the coulees or sitting by the campfire having a drink. Ron had a love for animals big and small and would spoil them to no end. We the family would like to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful care that Ronald received in Saskatoon, Regina and Swift Current. They had all showed kindness and compassion during the difficult times. We the family would like to extend an extra special appreciation to Dr. Byker for his truthfulness, compassion and expertise.
