CHASE, PATRICIA - After a brief illness, on Monday, July 1st, 2013 Patricia Nott (Blyth) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at the York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Left to mourn are her seven children, Agnes Chase, Karen (Jimmy) Brown, Richard (Cathy) Chase, Debbie Hampsey, Janet (John) Curwin, Sandy Seale, Terry (Silas) Boyne; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Craig (Gladys) Blyth. Pat was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Lee Byron Chase, as well as her granddaughter, Ashley and grandson Nathan. Pat was born on January 30th, 1930 in Cody's, NB to James and Agnes Blyth. She married Lee on May 10th, 1948 and they raised their family on their farm in Chipman, NB. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by sisters, May Warrington and Helen Betts; brothers, Andy, Jack and Jim. The family wishes to thank the excellent care Mom received during her three years at York Manor, who went above and beyond to make a home for Mom.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Thursday, July 4th, 2013 when funeral services will be held from the First Chipman United Baptist Church at Gaspereau Forks at 2:00 p.m with Pastor Pete, York Manor Clergy officiating. The family will receive comfort on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9. Interment will be in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery following the service. In Lieu of flowers memorials to the First Chipman United Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
