It is with a heavy and sad heart that the Mann family announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Keith Mann on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at home.
Born Dec. 28, 1947, Keith was the son of Mrs. Florence (MacLeod) Mann and the late Edmund H. Mann.
Keith touched the minds and hearts of hundreds of his students and fellow teachers during his teaching career from 1973-2003 in and around Sydney.
Those who were blessed to know Keith were touched deeply by his kind and generous heart.
Many were inspired at his love and command of music. Keith was at peace when he let the music flow from his heart as his fingers danced over a keyboard. The only thing more deeply felt than his love of music was Keith’s love of his friends and family.
Keith is survived by his loving mother, Florence, sister, Heather (Danny), brother, Brian (Carol), nieces, Christy, Rachel and Alison, nephews, David and Graham.
Keith was predeceased by his father, Edmund H. Mann and his older sister, Alayne
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 12-3 p.m. at the S.W.
Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Reception to follow.
