Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on Friday July 12, 2013 Ellen King age 71 of Fox Harbour, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her parents Edward & Mary Ellen (Perry) Duke, her brothers Issac, James, Alphonsus & Thomas Duke, sisters Theresa Howe & Mary O’Leary. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Leonard, daughter Glenda Barnett (Carl), sons Thomas (Bev) & Leonard (Juanita), her precious grandchildren Amy, Amanda, Megan, Robin, Brandon & Breanna, her beautiful great-grandchild Gabriel, her sister Bride Buckmaster, sisters-in-law Genevieve Duke , Mary McCormack, Rita Greene, Selina King, Nellie McCue and Mary King , and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia . Funeral Mass to take place on Monday July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Church, Fox Harbour. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fox Harbour. The family would like to thank Father Roche and Father Hann, also the whole staff of the Placentia Health Facility, everyone were so kind to her in her time of need. They were her second family.
