Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Monday, July 8, 2013, Mrs. Cora B. Sheppard, age 58 years of Boxey. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, Stephen; daughters, Tracy (Blair Clarke) at Flatrock and Stephanie (Jeremy Hepditch) at Boxey; son, Matthew at Alberta; grandchildren, Blayze, Sierra, Isabella, Kera, Daxon and Gemma; mother, Mrs. Sarah Snook at Wreck Cove; mother in law, Mrs. Beatrice Sheppard at Boxey; sisters, Carol (Earl Lawrence) at Wreck Cove and Cathy (Douglas Bullen) at Boxey; brother, Roy Blagdon (Josie) at Boxey; plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by Baby Boy Blagdon, father, Frank Blagdon and father in law, Charles J. Sheppard.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 2:00pm from St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Boxey with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Boxey.
