It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Tracy Elizabeth Louise Burgess, age 45, of Amherst, formerly of Springhill. Tracy passed away at her home on Thursday, July 11, 2013.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of Barbara (Quinn) Burgess of Springhill and David Burgess Senior of Springhill.
Tracy loved her family first and foremost. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was near and dear to her. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, picking strawberries, time at the beach and was always there to help her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she will be dearly missed by her partner Joseph Hartlen, Amherst, NS; son Corey Thorne (Hannah Somerville), Fredericton, NB; daughter Amber Thorne, Springhill; grandchildren, Timothy Somerville and Lexus Dowe, as well as one on the way; brother David Burgess Jr., (Lenora Guptill), Grand Manan, NB; sister Patricia Burgess (Jason Simmons), Springhill; her first husband David Thorne Jr., her second husband Robert Beaumont; several step-siblings and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A H Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill where visiting hours will take place on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11 am. Cremation will follow the funeral service and burial of the ashes will take place in the Hillside Cemetery.
