LEWIS, LORRAINE - 1959 - 2013 - Lorraine Lewis, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on July 16, 2013, after a sudden illness at the age of 53, but remained forever 28. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Mary Coates and the late Eldon Coates. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Jeff Lewis, brothers, Gary (Debby), Lonnie (Sharri), Tim (Jack Duguay), mother-in-law, Shirley, father-in-law, Carvell, sisters-in-law, Shelley (Mike), Lisa (Robert) and brother-in-law, David (Gilles LeBlanc). Lorraine will also be missed by her nieces, Claire and Mia, and nephews, Sean, Jeremy, Joey, Jesse, Samuel, and Jeffrey. Lorraine was a long-time employee of Shoppers Drug Mart. She was a member of Standardbred Canada, enjoyed horse racing, soft ball, bowling, singing, mentoring youth and making people laugh.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Fair Haven Funeral Home. A service celebrating Lorraine’s life will be held on Monday, July 22 at 11:00 am at Salisbury Baptist Church, 3128 Main Street, Salisbury, NB. The family would like to thank the staff of the 4600 unit at The Moncton Hospital, Dr. Davidson and Dr. Mansfield for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
