KENNEDY, GILBERT F. "GILL" - Gilbert "Gill" Kennedy, 67, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, July 18th 2013 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born on August 12, 1945 in Moncton, he was the son of the late George and Irene (Bastarache) Kennedy. He retired in 2011 from Taylor Ford after 25 years of service. He is survived by his common-law wife, Diane Cormier (“Mom” from St-Hubert); three daughters: Danielle Cormier (Tracy Garland) of Moncton, Peggy Kennedy (Aldo Cilada) of Toronto, ON and Louise Jardine (Dave) of Riverview; two grandchildren: Kalyn and Corey; three sisters: Ada Humphries (Doug) of Ajax, ON, Clara Belliveau (Peter) of Moncton and Pauline Kennedy of Mill Stream; one brother, James (Pauline) of Windsor, ON; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by one sister, Madlyn Palazzi; one brother, George “Bill”; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Kennedy and one nephew, George Kennedy.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday, July 21st 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7pm to 9 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, July 22nd 2013 at 10:30 am with reception to follow at the centre.
