Quentin Boyd

BOYD, QUENTIN JOHN ERIC - Quentin, 38, passed away at his home in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on Monday, July 8, 2013. Born in Winnipeg, MB. in 1975, he was the only son of Cheryl (Sherry) Price, nee Nilsson of Lac du Bonnet, MB and Leslie Vernon Boyd of Chipman, NB. Quentin moved to Fredericton with his parents when he was a year old and attended schools in Fredericton, graduating from Fredericton High School in 1993. Following graduation he moved to Calgary, AB where he lived and worked in the construction industry for 15 years before moving to Moose Jaw in 2011. Quentin will be remembered by those who loved him for being energetic and ambitious; a smart, hardworking man with a big heart who loved his children with a passion and was most content when spending time with them. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, camping and snowmobiling. Quentin leaves behind his bereaved parents Cheryl (Sherry) Price, nee Nilsson (Don MacNeil) and Leslie Boyd (Sherry Boyd), his daughter Kennedy Boyd, son Carter Boyd, stepdaughter Taylor King and friend and former wife, Gillian (Rae) King, daughter Adreanna Verrette, stepdaughter Shayla Verrette and special companion Sierra Verrette, all of Calgary, AB, stepbrothers Corey, Craig and Mitchell Price, maternal grandparents Merle Ruff of Calgary and Eric Nilssson of Wabowden, MB, many special aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous close friends including his good friend and business partner, Josh Pearce of Saskatchewan. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Harold and Tillie Boyd of Chipman, NB.
A funeral service will be held for family and close friends at the Grace Memorial Church in Fredericton on Monday, August 5, at 2:00 PM with a private family burial of his ashes at the Red Bank Cemetery in Chipman, NB. Donations in his memory if desired may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
