FAWCETT, NORMA A. - Surrounded by her loving family, the death of Norma Antoinette Fawcett of Tynemouth Creek, wife of the late Frederick Keith Fawcett occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, July 22, 2013. Born in Saint John on June 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jean (Finlay) Macaulay. Norma was an amazing gentle lady of grace and elegance. She is survived by her three sons, Alan (Allen) of Hinton, Alberta, Eric (Sharon) of Tynemouth Creek and Norman (Sherry) of Saint John. The joy of Nan’s life was her grandchildren Shawn (Mandy), Jeremy (Lindsay), Ryan (Tiffany) and Meaghan (Ryan) and especially her beautiful great grandchildren, Dominic, Chase, Adrian, Mya, Jaylin and Taylor. Norma is survived by brother David; sisters Connie, Nancy, Sandra, Barbara; sisters-in-law Nicolle, Jean, Audrey, Lucy and Beatrice “Bebe” (Ralph) Elliott; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers William, Frank, Harry Jr., Robert, Malcolm, Norman “Papa”, Donald “Buddy”, Wayne and sisters Betty and Doreen.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Park Avenue United Church. Interment will take place in the Browns Cemetery, Bains Corner, followed by a reception at the Fairfield Community Centre.
