ARSENAULT, ROLAND - It is with sadness that the family of Roland Arsenault announces his passing on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Raymond and Gabrielle (Godin) Arsenault. Roland was a general contractor and a jack of all trades in the Moncton area. He always enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. He particularly loved cooking for various groups such as the Knights of Columbus (where he was a 3rd degree member), his family, his friends at the trailer park (Horizon) in Shediac and in Florida where he spent memorable winters. He was a generous man who will be missed by all who knew him. Roland is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Kathleen née Léger; his three sons: Marc (Jacqueline), Yves (Diane) and Gilles (Nancy); his three precious grandchildren: Alexandre, Pascal and Zachary who were all by his side throughout his illness; his brother, Éloi (Chantal); his two sisters: Raymonde (Joao) and Nicole (Tom), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, René (Louise).
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, July 29 at 10:30 am. A reception in the centre will follow. Visiting hours Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 9:30 am.
