MARNEY, GLENN ROYCE - Glenn R. Marney of Waasis, NB passed away July 24, 2013 at Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in 1922 at Lower Southampton, NB, he was a son of the late William and Ethel (Mitchell) Marney. Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, M. Evelyn (Amirault) Marney; three daughters, Donna Noble (David), PEI, Wanda Pedersen (David), Waasis, NB and Heather Kennedy (Charles), Fredericton, NB; a daughter-in-law, Donna Murdoch, Waterville, NB; eight grandchildren, Tammy, Trevor, Crystal, Angela, Victoria, Andrew, Cy and Evelyn; several great grandchildren; a step-son, Don Dougherty (Eleanor), Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn (Mooers) Marney; a son, Roy Marney; an infant daughter, Joan Marie Marney and his brother, Aulden Marney.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. A reception will be held at the funeral home followed by interment at the Temperance Vale Cemetery.
