BROOME, DAVID GORDON – With great sadness the family of David Gordon Broome announces his passing on July 29, 2013, in Fredericton, NB. He was born July 9, 1929 in Plaster Rock, son of the late Banford and Elizabeth Broome. David is survived by his wife Pearl (McInnis); children: Raymond (Cheryl), Ike, Cheryl (Ivan) Smith, Janet (Lawrence) Briggs, Nancy (Broome) Peacock, and son #3 Orlan Miller; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters: Ethel Deveau and Elizabeth (Betty) Jones. David was employed with JDI Woodlands Sawmill Division until his retirement in 1994.
Resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home, Norton, (839-2156), with visiting on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00am at Sherwood’s Chapel.
